This month we bring to you three new products that have recently come onto the market from some of our favourite suppliers. Our team recently visited Jennifer Newman and Hitch Mylius to learn more about their new ranges and picked out two exciting new products for you. The third is an exciting new partnership between Steelcase and Officebricks to distribute their products throughout EMEA. Officebricks Acoustic Pods from Steelcase
Officebricks Acoustic Pods are a modular pod system that provide high sound insulation in an inviting atmosphere.
Smart design
A complete plug and play system, Officebricks Acoustic Pods can be assembled in under an hour–no drilling, adhesive bonding or screwing needed. Disassembly is also seamless, allowing for easy reconfiguration or relocation of office space. The OnAir sign indicates to workers that a unit is in use, making sure privacy is maintained.
Acoustics
Made of laminated safety glass and the clever brick system, Officebricks Acoustic Pods provide two-way sound insulation. Sound outside of the pod remains outside, while conversations inside the pod stay private. A low-noise ventilation system ensures a healthy climate and pleasant atmosphere without diminishing acoustics.
Form-Mobile by Jennifer Newman
Form-Mobile is striking in its simplicity. It has optional modular accessories like power and data outlets, cable tray or shelving, and a tactile, industrial steel finish that demands to be touched. It's found its way into many a tech start-up though let's not be prescriptive about where it should go: this is a practical piece that can do it all.
hm107 by Hitch Mylius
Magnus Long's hm107 Quiet Surfaces collection of tables can be used with his hm106 Quiet Seating to form banquette and canteen seating, as well as being suitable for meeting rooms and office spaces. With their cantilevered ends and looping under frames, the collections beautifully mirror each other's proportions.
The 'quiet' design can create a discreet addition to a space, leaving a feeling of calm - reflected in the design's symmetry.
Available with three table top lengths and in two heights - a dining height and high-working/standing height - with powder coated frames and a wide choice of table surfaces. These include laminate with lacquered birch ply edging, oak or walnut veneer with solid wood edges, Forbo Lino with lacquered birch ply edging and a solid caramel bamboo option. Standard frames colours are black, white or grey/white with other RAL colours available to order.
Bespoke sizes and finishes are available, including raw, lacquered steel.
